London Fashion Week SS15

The London Fashion Week takes on some of the best and well known designers from around the world. Somerset House also shows further design exhibitions and catwalk shows giving a great range of fashion exhibitions.

The London Fashion Week, famous for lovers of extravagant, bold pattern and traditional fashion is a clothing trade show held twice a year, in February and September.

It is one of the “Big Four” fashion weeks, along with New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.

The British Fashion Council are the main organisers and featuring Burberry Prorsum, Matthew Williamson, Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood, as well as world class emerging talent from BFC NEWGEN, sponsored by Topshop. With JW Anderson’s styling, Tom Ford’s comes with the traditional gents styling

In addition to major fashion houses such as Burberry and Mulberry young labels such as Peter Pilotto and Mary Katrantzou have become firmly established in the calendar Look in London. Starting at London Fashion Week was Hunter Original. Next an explosion of hand-painted art on bags and trench coats lent a bohemian feel to the latest Burberry collection at London Fashion Week.

British model Cara Delevingne closed the show sporting a blanket embroidered with her initials – Cara Jocelyn Delevingne. Hats, coats, you name it LFW showcased it. In other words, London fashion week is the daredevil, the risk-taker, among all the fashion weeks, and it’s where we see some of the most exciting clothes.
